7the Kuching Company Enrollment Service 2009

Venue: Chin Daw Methodist Church, Kuching

The service start with the marching in of the company colors by company color party which lead by W/O Michael and follow by Cpl Elvis Chong, Cpl Kuan Jiun Hong and Sgt Evander as CSM.

Followed the sermon of the service by our chaplain which entitled “the challenge of the youth”. Chaplain, Rev Mok had encourage and challenge  youth to join in BB ministry as to growing up together with the word of God and discipline.

The Act of Enrolment was conducted after the sermon by Rev.mok. Officers and boys are enrolled and promised to serve the company with God be their helper.

Media show of the history of the Boys brigade and company activities are being showed after the act of enrolment.

At the same time, a NKF video was showed for the concern of participation of the church member towards NKF fund.

The service end with the marching out of the company color and the benediction from the pastor.

May God grand 7th Kuching strength and wisdom in the future. With God’s help and blessing, 7th Kuching Company will be able to go through all the circumstances and continue to carry on the BB movement in both church and schools.

July 16, 2006 – The 7th Kuching BB Company today celebrates its 2nd Anniversary. An Enrolment Service at Chin Daw Methodist Church, Kuching marks this auspicious day. Chin Daw Methodist Church is the sponsoring authority of this company. The company was formed in late 2004.

The Enrolment Service begun with the marching in of the colors which was received by Pastor Ling, chaplain of the company. Our service started with a praise and worship session and followed by the sermon entitled “Youth evangelism” by the chaplain

The captain, Mr.Hii welcomed the guest, parents of the boys, church members and all the boys for joining in this historical enrolment service of the 7th Kuching company. Afterwhich there was a media presentation showing the congregation something about the company’s activities.

After the media presentation, a dance entitled “Glow” was presented by our boys and the Girls’ Brigade members.

The encrolment proper was conducted for all the old and new members of the company. Awards and promotions of NCOs folllowed next. The enrolment service ended at 11.45am with the marching out of the company colors and followed by the benediction by the chaplain. Refreshments were provided for the guest, parents and boys.
